When you see the
giant orange and pink flamingos, you'll know you're in the right spot! Enjoy a whimsical moment as you view a variety
of paintings, sculpture and mixed media artwork. Most of the artists are American, in addition to Korean, Peruvian, Haitian
and Canadian. Our current exhibit represents a diverse collection of quality art from classic to light-hearted and fun.
Stroll the museum gardens canopied with majestic Florida oaks. View the wide variety of tropical plants and flowers including
black bamboo and orchids. You won't want to miss the bathysphere prototype, the flying pigs, the spinning ballerina, the stainless
steel rocket ship "Creative Spirit", the granite pumpkin and snow man, and most of all, the Family Grouping - and
other whimsical sculptures nestled within flocks of flamingos and lots of whimsy.

District just north of Greater Downtown Sarasota and is nestled between Whitaker Bayou and the Ringling College of Art &

The Lee Family Arch
The Lee Family Arch welcomes
our visitors with a fascinating archway of sea shells, gems, beads, crystals, stones, pearls, marbles, Mom
and Dad's watches, stick pins, earrings, Lee Company lapel pins, tie tacks, and even a minnow. These are actual family momentos and other items that represent the rest of the generous,
creative, and supportive family members and friends of Museum Founder
and Curator, Marietta Lee; such as her parents, Leighton and Marietta Lee; her five brothers; Aunt Bev; Cousin
Newy; Grandmother and Grandfather Fagan. This arch
was created to honor them and all of the ongoing hard work of the Lee and Fagan Families that made this Museum
